My Skin Care Essentials
I've pretty much spent most of my years with a non-existent skin care routine. Without tooting my own horn, I've always had quite good skin (putting this down to the good old genes) for as long as I can remember, which gives reason to why I've been quite lazy when it comes to taking care of my skin. For the past year or so, I've come to terms and have realised that it is essential to take good care of my skin, in order to reap the benefits as I age. Here are my go to and must-have skin care products that I reach for on a day to day basis, to maintain a fresh face.
RMS BEAUTY Raw Coconut Cream - I like to melt this product to an oil from its solid form, to create the perfect overnight face oil for skin rehydration. As it's pretty much an all purpose product, I do use this as a cleanser on occasions.
PAI Organic Muslin Cloth - An essential for when cleaning the face.
CLEAN & CLEAR Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub - A product that I have been using for just over 10 years now. The tiny exfoliating micro beads work to unclog and clear impurities in the pores, which effectively prevents blackheads from forming.
KIEHL'S Ultra Facial Moisturiser - A light textured everyday moisturiser with a spot of SPF. Keeps my skin hydrated and shine free.
LUSH COSMETICS The Sacred Truth Mask - A thick textured fresh face mask, which helps to enhance and revive my complexion. The key to radiance is literally trapped in this little tub.
EVE LOM Morning Cleanser - I like to use this smooth cleanser after my daily morning exfoliation, to restore moisture into the skin.
EVE LOM Cleanser - Luxury in a small tub. My go to cleansing balm, which leaves my skin feeling fresh and incredibly soft and plump.
LA-ROCHE POSAY Effaclar K(+) Anti-Sebum - A light serum that works to mattify the skin and reduce the appearance of blackheads. I like to apply this onto my skin before my moisturiser. A great serum for those with combination or oily skin.
KIEHL'S Creamy Eye Treatment - Very rich in texture, and great for keeping the under eye moisturised and plump. I like to apply this during the night, lightly patting it onto the under eye area. A tiny amount goes a very long way too.
CODAGE Scrubbing Cream - After finishing a sample size, I just had to purchase this product in full size. The ultimate exfoliating experience with this bad boy. It leaves my skin looking radiant, smooth and hydrated. Well worth every penny.
