Claudia Ligari | SS14 Collection Launch
The lovely Jen from JenElectro and Lewis & Leigh PR got in contact with me to introduce me to this cool Designer named Claudia Ligari.
Having previously worked for Alexander McQueen and Missoni, Claudia wanted to step into her own niche in modern day androgyny. Claudia's own brand was then launched, which focuses heavily on a "combination of fabrics that bring together functional shapes, with fluid georgette and hammered silks".
I was lucky enough to be invited down to the office, to pick out a piece from an exclusive collection that Claudia had designed for a few bloggers! I chose this amazing white mesh jumper (which I am just in love with). What I like about it is, its boxy shape and material, totally me! I feel that she embraces comfort and functionality within her designs which is how all clothing should be really!
Next followed the official Launch of Claudia's SS14 collection down at 127 Bricklane. I absolutely adore the collection as the designs are simplistic and perfect for everyday wear, day or night. i love the use of the light silk material and a dark palette. It doesn't always have to be bright colours during Spring/Summer!
Guests were treated to tasty drinks and some fabbb goody bags! Thanks for having me Lewis and Leigh, very good vibes and it was a successful night!
