Velvet Touch

The rebirth of velvet came to dominate every nook and cranny of Autumn/Winter, very much so that it has avoided being left behind with the noes and woes of 2016. Luxurious and rich in texture, velvet has embodied the easiness of weaving itself perfectly into casual everyday pieces, despite its frequent use as more of an evening wear staple. Being a lover of shirts (as you can probably tell), the heavens really opened when I stumbled across this velvet LPA number in a dashing navy blue hue. Whether you rock it in the form of a structured blazer or garish palazzo pants, velvet is here to stay–making its presence known everywhere as the 'it ' fabric for now.
