Long Shorts

I can't believe how fast this year has gone, June already?!
Here I have an OOTD to start off the month. Although it's officially Summer, I'm still sceptical about the British weather. My wardrobe is still pretty much Autumn/Winter and so I've started looking for the perfect transitional pieces. A perfect piece for our current bipolar weather situation are culottes or long tailored shorts. They're both the perfect length for the mediocre weather.

I love these long shorts from New Look because they are also very versatile, I can pretty much style them up for any occasion! I went for a casual look styling with a colour popping jacket, stripy top, and comfy skater shoes. I also accessorised with this funky hat, my silver bag (faveee), and silver jewellery, which I thought would complement the outfit well.
To switch to an evening look, all I need are a pair of heels and I'm ready to go!
