New Year, New Beginnings
Grateful that I'm alive and well firstly, as many haven't been as fortunate. 2013 for me was good overall - It was more about finding myself and figuring out what I really want to do when university comes to an end (only a few months left now).
My blog opened up great opportunities for me last year and I'm truly grateful. Such opportunities would not be possible if it was for my lovely readers and their support. I'll definitely be dedicating more time to the blog as I feel the past few months, I've been a bit lazy! It really is hard being consistent when it comes to blogging, as I'm sure a lot of you may know, but I really want to step up and give you guys more content to really enjoy reading this year! 2013 has taught me a lot, and I know that if I want my dreams and aspirations come to life, I've got to work hard for them. The best things in life do not always come along easily!
As tough as my third year at uni is right now, I really want to give it my all in these last few months, as I know it will all be worth it in the end. For me, a new year, means new beginnings, just like writing on the first page of fresh new book.
One highlight of 2013 would definitely be flying out to Copenhagen for the X by Trollbeads launch event, which you can read about here). It was such an honour to be invited, I never would have thought that my little blog would catch attention to the point where I'm able to travel to another country for an event! I would love to travel more this year, but we will see!
I like to be kept busy, so I hope 2014 is an enjoyable and prosperous year not just for me, but for everyone - family, friends, my blog readers ... everyone!
