A Good Night's Sleep With Leesa

Sleep, we all need it, we all want it, but do we all experience good quality sleep that sets us up on the right path each morning, with us singing and dancing with the birds and the bees once we step outside? For me no, it's hardly ever been the case unfortunately, and it all boils down to what I used to sleep on every night - my mattress.

When people stress on the fact that we should all be sleeping on great quality mattresses it's always been something that I lightly brush off. Don't get me wrong, I'm not out here sleeping on a bed of nails, but I have never really 'invested' in a mattress myself, possibly due to never really being too fussy with the type of mattress I lay on at night.

I've got to admit, I've never been one who gets the most amount of sleep at a time but that's just how my body clock works. With all that being said I think it's been the physical quality of my sleep that usually has me waking up on the wrong side of the bed. It's funny how a few months back I'd always wake up with constant back pain and aches, and my mother ultimately put it down to the quality of my previous mattress. Fast forward a few months and I have a boxed up Leesa mattress turn up at my door to trial and review. If you haven't heard about them, Leesa Sleep is an innovative mattress company with one simple goal: to help people get a better night's sleep.

After a good month of putting my new Leesa mattress to the test, I think it's now time to crack down on how it's really made a difference in providing me with a good nights sleep through and through.

Having never tried a foam mattress, I've always been adamant that if I do, I'll sink right into it and never come back out, but it's just not the case! The Leesa mattress itself is formed of 3 foam layers that somehow adjust to your body to provide optimum support and comfort, which I personally think has been key in targetting the problem I've had with my back, as I no longer suffer from the aches and pain– that's pretty mind-blowing if I do say so myself. It really puts into perspective what a really good quality mattress can do for you and your health whilst you sleep. Another thing to note is I've noticed that I don't move around as much anymore, and pretty much stay in the same position I fall asleep in. It's weird as I've always been one to wake up in the craziest positions, and that hasn't been the case as of late.

Visually I've got to give it to Leesa, for taken pride in how the mattress looks too, it's visual appeal doesn't even require the need for bed dressings if that's your style– quite rare to come across.

One thing I would definitely be mindful of is if you do choose to try out a Leesa mattress, is it definitely takes a while to get used its initial firmness, but once you get past that, you've honestly hit the jackpot– a jackpot for an unlimited lifetime supply of a goods nights sleep that is!

It's good to see a company have their customers' best interest at heart; operating exclusively online, Leesa offers a 100-night risk-free trial period, meaning if their mattress is just not your cup of tea, they are more than happy to collect it and hand back a full refund. Your mattress will then be donated through charitable organisations that support the homeless, as well as those seeking refuge from domestic abuse and human trafficking. With that being said, Leesa also donates one mattress to these charitable causes for every ten they sell. To date, the company has been able to donate over 30,000 mattresses to charities worldwide including 30 charities in the UK. The act of giving back is something that is definitely embedded in the company's DNA, which is great to see.

So, with all that being said, I do believe in Leesa sleep's mission to help people get a better night's sleep because I 100% have!
