Festival Fashion with Matalan

Another festival inspired outfit, and still yet no festivals to attend! Here I'm sporting a very unconventional look in collaboration with Matalan's latest Summer campaign, celebrating festival fashion. By unconventional, I mean who would really wear an all white outfit to a festival? - obviously me *cheeky grin*. I've got to admit I'm pretty good at keeping my whites clean, which of course explains the bravery of laying/sitting on the grass as you can see. I personally feel as though white outfits should be embraced a bit more when it comes to festival fashion, what do you guys think? A bit too risky or nah?

I couldn't shy away from this white tailored number from Matalan's Abbey by Abbey Clancy range. I'm a sucker for a shirt dress, and gravitated towards this one for its pleated bottom half and thick material. I felt no where near restricted, and somewhat free to jump and run around the park in this cute dress. I did of course wear a pair of shorts underneath to keep hold of my dignity!

To tone the dressy dress down a notch, I thought the addition of  straw hat, sunglasses and a pair of chunky ankle boots, would toughen up the look and give off a more casual vibe.
