Wall Art Update With Posterlounge

Some of you may know that I redecorated my room earlier this year and spruced it up with with a few prints gallery-wall style. As Summer begun, the urge to give my space a little update with a few new additions took over, so the opportunity to inject a little more life into my room with some new wall art from

Posterlounge couldn't have come at a better time! What is Posterlounge? Founded in Germany, they have established themselves as a go-to company that provides beautiful photography, illustrations and paintings in the form of wall art. The choosing process: a long battle of indecisiveness–possibly down to the fact that they have just over 200,000 motifs to actually choose from which is crazy. Be prepared for a day dedicated to endless scrolling!

Pretty sure it's impossible for someone not to find what they're looking for, as there is something catered to every individual's taste. The selection is very diverse with options to chose your high-quality wall pictures and art prints in a variety of sizes and materials such as the classic poster, canvas, wood and a few more! There are also plenty of options when it boils down to how you want to display your art too. Whether it be in a wooden frame or hanging from poster hangers, Posterlounge is all about making your choices as flexible as possible to suit your tastes and the vibe of your home.

I decided to go for poster styles so that I could place them in a few old frames I already had lying around. Choosing pieces that resonated with my style and interests down to the T was important. Being very big on travelling, the majority of the posters that I chose are of locations dotted around the world–my favourite being the Havanna photograph taken by Peter Schickert. Cuba has been one of the countries I have been very eager to visit for the longest time. Affordable pieces of art such as these are perfect for adding personality and character to one's space, especially when there is pretty much no budget for fancy furniture! When decorating your space with wall art, it's nice to add things that inspire you.

What I love most about Posterlounge is that they support and provide over 20,000 artists with a sales platform to help sell their paintings, photography and illustrations. You can also bag yourself reproduced versions of classic art pieces from the likes of Vincent van Gogh and Gustav Klimt! Be sure to dive into a pool of inspiration by also visiting their online magazine 'Art & Living', to discover the latest interior design trends and very useful decorating tips!
