Debuting in 1972 as Bill Bowerman's first real masterpiece, the Nike Cortez was to serve the purpose of going the distance as a running shoe. Now we're back on the Cortez like it never left the track. Better yet, you'll find this fresh revival all over the streets instead. The vintage sneaker has made a mighty comeback in the last couple of months, and let's just say that I've finally jumped onto the wave. Here I'm sporting the newest edition to the Cortez family - the Ultra. The original classic and retro silhouette has undergone a slight makeover, sporting a more streamlined look, which I'm very much into as much as its senior. Looks like the highly coveted Adidas Stan Smith has finally met its match ...
