Subtle Seventies
How can one currently avoid seventies fashion, when it has blossomed into being the biggest trend of the year thus far?! You can't really step into a store without fringes and flares cornering you from every possible angle. I am still not entirely sold on the trend, but still like certain aspects of it. Take for instance, chunky heeled boots, high waisted jeans, suede material, wide leg trousers, and of course, skinny scarves! I would say I tackled the seventies craze with the help of Urban Outfitters the pretty basic way. I've even passed on the usual black booties and reached for a funky snake print pair. They are actually my first pair of non-black boots ... I feel an evolution coming on.
