I remember after school one day, I came home to what I would document as one of the worst things I would ever see in my childhood years. My parents had my room redecorated with pink wallpaper. That day I wept, I cried a river for sure, and you can count on the fact that the rest of the week for me was just not the best! It was one of those situations where you know the issue can be rectified easily, but at that moment in time, you seriously do.not.care.

Growing up as a wee Tomboy, the colour pink was just not up for discussion, I definitely wasn't a fan of Barbie, because of the deep repugnance I had for the colour. I quite liked Action Man though ...

Fast forward a few years, I have taken a liking to a shade (small baby steps) of pink. The dusty, subtle, not in your face kind of pink.
