My Style Icon - Boohoo

This month I have been challenged by Boohoo to recreate an outfit from someone who I would deem a 'style icon'. The first person who immediately came to mind was of course the bad ass Rihanna. She is an icon when it comes to fashion in her own right, and I'm sure plenty of people in the industry can vouch for that. Rihanna is definitely a person who takes risks when it comes to her style, but I fell in love with one of her recent looks, just because of how simple, elegant, and chic it was. 

The crisp all white co-ord is a look that can be worn day or night, with a quick change of shoes and accessories. I decided to add a little twist to my look by opting for these stone coloured culottes, rather than white. I guess you can say I stole her look and made it my own!

Culottes were never a love at first sight situation for me, but for these past few weeks, there has been a turn around, and I absolutely love them. I can't wait to get my hands on more styles and colours! 
As Rihanna is clasping onto a black leather bag, I too shall follow - I've found a new everyday tote by Aspinal of London to carry around everywhere with me. To finish off the look, I opted for my trusty chunky heels. I do prefer a pointed toe to other styes of heels these days.
