It has been a good few years since I have popped my feet into a pair of ballerina flats (they're usually stuck in a pair of black ankle boots or trainers nowadays). I've always found them to be quite uncomfortable after walking miles, simply because the support on the sole usually isn't that great.
But hold up, and wait a minute ... the new obsession - lace up flats! This shoe style sees to be literally everywhere, and it's pretty much down to Aquazzera with their 'Christy' Leather Lace up Flats, and Michael Kors' Kallie Lace-Up Flats. What's not to love about them?? Oh yes, the price. I mean fair enough if you have the money to splurge on them, because If I did, my bank card would be out ready to be swiped within a blink of an eye, but the way my bank account is set up .. no, just no.

Thank God for the high street however! There are plenty of lace up flats floating around at more affordable prices, which brings me to these beauties that I recently purchased from Next. I'm really taking a liking to pointed shoes and I love suede, so these were the perfect lace up flats for me! I just got back from Berlin (a post on that soon to follow), and wore these quite a bit. You'll honestly be surprised by how comfortable these shoes are. I mean, I walked all day around the city, and even went bike riding for a few hours in these shoes, and not one ounce of pain!
i also love how you can wear these with almost anything, from a pair of jeans, to a skirt or dress, they are very versatile. If you are someone who doesn't like to wear heels on a night out, I think these flats could act as the perfect alternative,
