For the love of H&M Trend

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

H&M Trend will always own a piece of my heart - like always. The line plays on current trends of each season (hence its name of course), so the collections are updated quite regularly. However, I find that H&M always find a way to make most of the Trend pieces quite classic and timeless, which is why I love the line. They can do no wrong with this concept! As the pieces are of better quality compared to other H&M lines, the pricing is somewhat similar to that of Zara - not bad for the unique and contemporary style of clothing you come across with Trend,
I remember when this long bomber jacket popped up on the website, I didn't quite like it at first glance. Then seeing it in person changed my mind about it instantly. It's pretty much what I throw on everyday - definitely my favourite outerwear piece right now.
Ribbed detail on clothing is basically a texture I obsess over nowadays. So how could I pass up on this top and skirt?? The top has this gorgeous high neck and split sides. It also has matching bottoms, which I did try on. I honestly couldn't get to grips with the whole bell bottom fit, which is just not my cup of tea, so I had to let them go! I know you can't tell, but this is skirt super high waisted it's ridiculous and cool at the same. I don't know whether I have my height to blame for that...
The double ring zip detail is also what drew me to it - quite quirky!

Me an my sister were playing around with my fairly new SonyA5000 (review here). Quite like how the images came out. I think I will be using this for more of my outfit shoots, as I love its wide angle perspective, and I want my sister to really get a hang of its features, as its more than just a point and shoot at the end of the day! What do you guys think?

  5. I just came across your site while looking for this jacket, and I must say I'm happy I did! I am definitely a new follower :) But may I ask, what size is your jacket and how tall are you? I am thinking of buying it second hand, but I can't find any size-references anywhere.
    Thank you!

    1. Ah thank you so much and welcome! :)
The jacket is a size XS (UK 6-8), and I am 5'4. It definitely has a slight oversized fit. Hope this helps!
