Cape + Crop top + Trousers + Bag + Earrings - c/o TOPSHOP , Heels (Similar) - URBAN OUTFITTERS

As Christmas parties are nearing, I'm sure a lot of you are on the hunt for some show-stopping party wear! I've teamed up with one of my favourite brands Topshop to show you all my take on a Christmas party wear look! With all the amazingness Topshop have to offer at the moment, it was definitely tricky choosing an outfit (oh boy).

Sequins and metallics consume a lot of attention during the festive season, so it was only right to include a splash of them in this outfit! Emerald green is the colour of the year for me, a perfect colour for Autumn/Winter in general, but a winner for the festive period. These high waisted peg leg trousers are to die for, perfect party wear piece for someone who isn't keen on sporting a dress. The metallic crop top compliments the trousers so well it hurts (it really does).
What better way to finish off the look than adding this gorgeous shiny feathered cape (which creeps my my own mother out a little) - a statement piece that can really changes the game. I love the oily green and purple sheen the feathers have. Of course a cute small bag or clutch is needed so I opted for this heavily embellished sequin bag which is perfect mix between gold and silver - another statement piece.

If you're more of a dress kind of gal but love the trousers, well good news - Topshop have only gone and created a dress version, which I also want! Below, I've created a little mix and match party wear oufit, featuring my Christmas look! For a cool layered look, the feathered cape would look great over the boyfriend style coat, whether you've paired the coat with the trousers or dress!

Also, why not check out Topshop's 'New Party Rules' - showing you ten new ways on how you can dress up for the good times! My favourite party rule has to be 'Suit up, look sharp', definitely my sort of get up!
