London Collections: Men

January 13, 2014

If I'm on honest, I pretty much prefer London Collections: Men (LCM) to London Fashion Week. From the impeccable non over-the-top street style, to the cool locations, LCM just seems that bit more better. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend any shows and other events this season, due to uni commitments. I'm already looking forward to the S/S'15 shows during Summer! Here are a few collections that really caught my eye ...

This collection oozed confidence and took the common heritage menswear look to a new level. With the oversized Sherlock coats, striking patterns, bold wide-legged trousers, this collection was definitely my favourite. What I would do for that red oversized coat right now!

Burberry Prorsum
I adore the mix of femininity and masculinity in this collection. The placement of the silk scarves draped effortlessly around the neck really added a new element to the looks. The colour palette gave off warmth, and the hand painted leather bags were also a great creative touch! Christopher Bailey did very well this season!

Richard Nicoll
This collection is a different take on contemporary formal wear, which I love. There were plenty of loose fitting Bermuda shorts, and long round-hemmed shirts to go around. The layering and clashing of patterns, textures and colours were perfect.

  1. I find men's fashion to be so much more intriguing than women's when it comes to shape and structure. The camel coloured look in the E. Tautz collection is divine.

  2. Love all of the collection you choose; people were saying that the designs this year are less wearable and more of a "costume look". But this collections begs to differ, I absolutely adore the Burberry collection by Christopher Bailey.

  3. was my 1st time doing LC:M your right way more chilled.
