Welcome to Ibiza

Crazy partying, is what usually comes to mind when you hear Ibiza right? Well for me, it was much more than that! At first, I wasn't too keen on the island, as I always had it in my mind that most people only go there just to get drunk and forget half of their holiday! My friend finally persuaded me into going and got the holiday booked, and I'm glad she did, as I really enjoyed being there!

I stayed in San Antonio Bay which was a ten minute walk from the 'night life' or as most people call it, 'the strip'! Along the strip, there are many souvenir shops, bars, restaurants and market stalls (which are open during the evening. There's also a beach opposite the strip where you can do cool water sports activities and take boat trips to different beaches on the island!

With the clubs, might I say they are the priciest! Most cost around 40-70 Euros to gain entry which is absolutely extortionate! I only went to one club which was called Privilege (the biggest club in Ibiza), lucky for us it was free entry for a day! I would definitely recommend hitting the bars along the strip instead, as they are free, with DJs and the drinks were cheap!

I came to learn that Ibiza is such a beautiful Island, with so many places to visit if you really have the time. I would definitely go back, and I'm already missing the place!

I didn't want to bring my Canon along with me, so I purchased the Sony DSC-WX300 to bring along on holiday, I love it!
